The Kielder 1 is your entry to the Reid performance gravel range. Updated geometry for more confident off-road exploring, improved controls and ergonomics and a new frame that boast large tyre clearance and plenty of mounting points, the Kielder 1 is a tool for getting out and exploring new roads and trails and everything in between.

Whether you need a rugged commuter, your first bikepacking bike, or just a do it all machine at a great price point, the Kielder 1 has got your back. Sharing gravel inspired geometry with all the same mudguard and equipment mounts as the top of the range Kielder 3, this is a bike that is more than capable of epic adventures. The custom 6061 aluminium frame is built to be light, comfortable and offer a confidence inspiring position for great control on both road and off road terrain.

The gears are now upgraded to Shimano Claris, featuring sleek and comfortable STI shifters and a 2×8 gear range to ensure you are ready for any incline. Braking is courtesy of market leaders Tektro, with cable disc brakes and 160mm rotors for awesome control in all weather conditions. The Kielder 1 is finished with a comfortable saddle, light weight aluminium finishing kit and CST Overton 45mm tyre which are fast rolling on paved surfaces while still offering superb grip off-road.
